"I CONVINCED MYSELF I WAS PREGNANT WHEN I WAS 13"

Kelly Osbourne has hit out at the rife levels of unprotected, drug-fuelled sex in the celebrity world, revealing she once feared she was pregnant at the tender age of 13.

The scene queen made her confession after admitting she now goes for sexual health screen checks four times a year.
On the attack, the radio agony aunt said: 'I've seen it first hand. Alcohol and drugs impair your judgment. You're not thinking clearly. I know it's because I was drunk that I had unprotected sex.'

Slamming her celeb mates, she rants: "They're [bleeping] lying if they say they don't, because I've seen it first hand."
Her comments come after confessing she thought she had slipped up herself as a young teen, telling:
'I convinced myself I was pregnant when I was 13 and I hadn't even got my period!' the 23-year-old told New! Magazine.
So conscious, Osbourne says she now goes for regular screenings telling: 'I go three, maybe four times a year to get tested [for sexually transmitted infections] and most of the time I don't even need to. I just go for peace of mind.'

KELLY OSBOURNE URGES USE OF CONTRACEPTION

Today, international sexual and reproductive health experts and successful recording artist and media personality Kelly Osbourne, call for more action to address the burgeoning problem of unplanned pregnancies and the subsequent level of abortions worldwide. Both result from lack of, and inaccurate use of, contraception, and lead to significant personal crisis and societal burden. The campaign is supported by Bayer Schering Pharma. On the 40th anniversary year of the United Nations declaring contraception and family planning a basic human right, World Contraception Day highlights the impact of unplanned pregnancy to help educate young people on making informed choices about contraception and prevent unwanted pregnancies.

KELLY'S AUTOBIOGRAPHY WILL BE PUBLISHED MAY, 2009

Virgin editorial director Louisa Joyner has signed up a first book from Kelly Osbourne.
The book is described as a memoir based on Osbourne's experiences of growing up, from the period before she was famous to her sudden exposure to the media glare following the hit reality TV show "The Osbournes".
She "will draw upon her own extraordinary experiences to help other young women as they negotiate the minefield that is growing up," said Virgin.
Joyner said she was "hugely excited" to be publishing the book, describing Osbourne as holding "a unique place in popular culture, hugely famous and yet totally accessible, a perfect fit for the Virgin list."
M.d. John Sadler said: "We can't wait for Kelly to take the book trade by storm in the way her mother did just two years ago." The as yet untitled debut will be published in May 2009.

KELLY'S DIY SHINER

KELLY OSBOURNE got clattered by a crumbling kitchen in her London home over the weekend, resulting in a nasty shiner.
The Radio 1 DJ was laid low over the Bank Holiday with a painful stomach bug that left her housebound.
And when she went to get a glass from a cabinet, disaster struck.
The entire unit came off in her hands, bashing her on the face.
Poor girl!

SKY AXES KELLY OSBOURNE SHOW

Kelly Osbourne's fashion series Project Catwalk has been axed by Sky One.
The show has run for three series with Osbourne fronting the last two. Sky controller Richard Woolf said it was dropped in favour of new "female-friendly" programs.
A Sky One spokesman said: "We felt the series had come to a natural end and we are looking for some new female-skewed formats for the 8pm slot."

Project Catwalk

Project Catwalk began in 2006 with Elizabeth Hurley as host - it was a spin-off of the US show Project Runway fronted by Heidi Klum.
In it new fashion designers competed against each other but the latest run saw ratings dip to only 110,000.
Kelly Osbourne's next TV project is hosting a US variety show with parents Ozzy and Sharon and brother Jack.

"THE DIFFERENCE YOU CAN MAKE FOR THEM IS REALLY IN YOUR JEANS"

KELLY OSBOURNE is doing her bit to support the UK's fledgling fashion talent and a good cause by modeling a Jeans for Genes Day 2008 T-shirt design created by London College of Fashion student Iain Walker.

Kelly Osbourne August 11th, 2008

Inspired by Sixties pop art, Walker's XY chromosome design wowed fashion and lifestyle guru Nick Ede and designer Wayne Hemingway to make the cut for this year's charitable campaign, which raises money to support children born with genetic disorders. His design features on both its Ts and cotton shopping bags.

"By supporting the campaign I hope I'll encourage everyone to get involved by buying a T-shirt, or donating a couple of pounds and pulling on their denim for Jeans for Genes Day on October 3," says Osbourne. "The money raised changes the world for those children born with genetic disorders. The difference you can make for them is really in your jeans."

Get yours now at www.jeansforgenes.com; prices start at 2.50 pounds per bag.

MAYBE SHE CAN WRITE A BOOK?

It's been reported that Kelly has lost a stone (14 pounds) in six weeks on the 'love diet'.
The pint-sized powerhouse, who once 'turned to junk food out of boredom', is now too preoccupied with her new plaything, Luke Worrell, to worry about mundane things such as EasyMac or Peas & Potatoes.

Good for her! She's been looking fit lately.
